We count ourselves lucky to have dined at Faubourg's Montclair a number of times. The Weehawken edition brings all we enjoy about this concept: attentive and welcoming staff, beautiful surroundings, deliciously prepared food, a great wine and cocktails list, and an experience that feels curated, a casually elegant vibe. During warm weather Faubourg offers an outdoor seating area too. Our reservation on Resy was honored promptly and we were greeted by name (love that!). Plan to arrive early parking is in short supply on streets and the garage is a few blocks stroll.

Faubourg has become one of my favorite restaurants in NJ. The food and cocktails are excellent. The service is very good. My husband and I have eaten here 4 times and every dish we have tried has been good or excellent.

I found out about Faubourg during Hudson Restaurant Week and a friend had been to the Montclair location and said it was good. So a couple of girlfriends and I went. It was a Saturday night and the restaurant was packed. It was beautiful inside and had great mood lighting, just right. There is a beautiful bar and dining room. We all started with a cocktail. I ordered the tarte flambee and beef bourguignon. We also ordered the chickpea panisse which was visually gorgeous! I loved this starter. And the beef bourguignon was like butter so rich and yummy. I wanted a bucket of this! We accidentally ordered a very expensive bottle of wine, we could have asked them for something cheaper but we went for it and it did not disappoint. Then we got a dessert wine which was divine. I can't wait to go back to Faubourg. A friend went during the week and sat at the bar and said it was very quiet but that the food was great.

WOW, the restaurant is beautifully designed, the vibe is perfect for an intimate date night, the service is top tier - almost like you’re transported to a European setting, and the food is so delicious. Everything from the fresh tuna tartar to the scallops and wagyu steak to the orange blossom creme brulee and cheesecake was incredible. It’s rare to have such incredible food on every bite, not even one bad dish. Even the sommelier was brilliant and paired the meal and desserts perfectly. We’ve been to their Montclair location and now here to their new location. Both are so fun and can’t wait to go back!

The food presentation is a feast for the eyes, and the flavors are nothing short of exquisite. I thoroughly enjoyed every single bite of my meal. As a mezcal enthusiast, I was particularly excited to try their signature cocktails, the Smooth Operator and Kumasutra. Both drinks perfectly complemented the dishes and added an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience. With such a diverse and enticing menu, I’m confident that everyone will find a dish that suits their taste. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant—100% worth it! You won't be disappointed.

We’ve been to their Montclair location for several years. So glad finally this open and we can commute here easily from Manhattan. And heard you can actually take Ferry from Manhattan. It’s right next to the river. Food is exceptional as always. Good vegetarian choice as well. Most surprisingly I love the decor, it’s like fusion on Art Deco with modern colour. I can see this as a romantic dinner for couples or cosy friends dinner gathering. Can’t wait to come back again.

Great dining experience. The food was delicious and just a few tweaks to things and it would considered a fine dining establishment. And they are small things as well - like the bread warmed. Having spent 10 years dining in Manhattan and 5 years in New Jersey, I truly appreciate the city-like dining experience Faubourg offers—but in a much more peaceful and relaxed setting. It perfectly blends that urban vibe with a calm, neighborhood-friendly atmosphere. I’m thrilled to have Faubourg as the closest restaurant to my apartment—it’s a fantastic addition to the community! The food is simply outstanding, easily ranking among my best dining experiences. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a welcoming ambiance!
